This African Face Brooch features a light brown ceramic face on a copper backing with dangling earrings. It has been the subject of some speculation and is often attributed to Elzac. It is also very similar to a brooch produced by Charles Horner. My research has shown that this design also came in the more common green as well as a pink colored ceramic face. I was able to locate the matching earrings in green on the original paper card that read "Hand Crafted Jade Ceramic on Genuine Copper". There was no manufacturer listed on the card but it is most likely not an Elzac piece.
