Art Nouveau Vermeil Orchid And Pearl Pin

This pretty little pin is handcrafted and in the shape of an orchid flower.  The center is decorated with a white cultured pearl.  According to my reference books, this style of pin was from the Art Nouveau period.  It was crafted in both sold gold and sterling with a gold plating (vermeil).  This pin is vermeil and is stamped 925 at the end of the stem.  The pin has a simple loop and c-clasp closure.
