I don't see a ribbon for Spinocerebellar ataxia type 3 - SCA3 aka “Machado-Joseph”, half of my family has been lost or we are loosing to battle. It will be hard to start awareness for it, if we lack a ribbon color. thanks you so much!

Alicia, I am not aware of a ribbon specific for this cause. You can try contacting the Global Genes project and see if they will allow you to campaign with their blue jeans ribbon (your cause should fall under its umbrella). We cannot list the blue jeans ribbon for copyright and trademark issues. http://globalgenes.org/ You could also start your own campaign with a new ribbon specific for your cause. Sincerely, Dana Bates

I was researching an awareness ribbon for Multiple Sclerosis. Do they one? And what can be done to get one created? We would like to paint the town with a color, and acknowledge the ones that suffer with MS that they're not alone and awareness to the public.

Teresa, MS has two ribbons that are currently in use. The first is the prism ribbon and the second is the orange ribbon. The orange ribbon was adopted by the NMSS. Dana

Please send me a awareness application for 22q.112 duplication it is a genetic difference not a syndrome like the opposite digestive syndrome. A group of us parents realized there is not an awareness ribbon We know there is a blue Jean global gene ribbon but would like to be recognised on our own.
