A Borre Style Replica Viking Brooch by Asgard. This trefoil brooch is decorated in the Borre style which was common in the mid 9th to mid 10th century. It is based on one found in the north of England. This type of brooch was typically used by women as a clothing fastener, perhaps to close a coat.
