Egyptian Cat Cuff Silver Bracelet By Museum Reproductions

A gorgeous silver colored bangle bracelet adorned with two cat heads facing each other. Cats were sacred in ancient Egypt and were representative of the goddess Bastet. This bracelet is inspired by the cat amulets which were worn from the 11th dynasty and remained popular into the 23rd dynasty. From the collections of: Réunion des Musées Nationaux in Paris, France.

The bangle has an opening at the top and is a bit flexible so you can open it (gently open sideways) to place it upon your wrist. This piece is silver plated with the heads being pewter and the bangle is flexible brass.

Inner diameter = 2.25 inches with a circumference of 7.25 inches. Average sized.
