An Art Deco era French carve galalith beaded necklace in a fabulous yellow color. Galalith is a plastic made from casein which is a milk protein. The galalith beads were dyed yellow and then carved to produce these wonderful patterns. It is a very light weight and comfortable necklace.
Condition: Very good/good. There is some darkening towards the back of the necklace due to it being worn. A few of the beads have a dark speck on them. There is a bit of slack in the thread but it is secure and sturdy. The clasp works well. Please see photos.
