A Vintage removeable Cat Charm by Monet! This kitty was part of the extremely popular and collectible removeable charms collection made by Monet. This cat is extra special in that it has green rhinestone eyes and a green mottled art glass belly (sometimes incorrectly referred to as Peking glass). This charm may be found on page 160 and page 228 of Monet the Masters Jewelers by Alice Vega. The advertisement shown on page 160 is dated 1968, so this charm should be from the 1960's time period.

Condition: Very Good. Often times these charms are quite worn from use on a bracelet or necklace but this one is in very good condition. It has some plating wear on the tip of the left ear a bit on the edge of the nose, one whisker and around the connector ring.

Time period: 1960s or sometime around 1968
Materials: Gold plated metal, glass, rhinestones
Approx. measurements: 1 3/8 inches high including the clasp. 1/2 inch wide at the belly.
