Ultra handy silicone rubber pin keepers for pins with longer pin stems. If you have a pin or brooch that does not have a secure clasp or the pin pops open now and then, you can add one of these to your pin stems for a bit of extra security. It will either buy you some time before you pin falls off or allow time for you to realize that it has popped open. Price is per piece.

Each pin keeper has a hole in the center. If they are brand new, they can be snug at first. Practice putting them on a non-valuable pin and it will open the rubber hole a bit to make it easier to put it on a pin stem.
Some pin stems are thicker than others. Do not force the keeper on or you might accidentally bend your pin stem. For really thick pinstems, these are big enough for you to use a tiny drill bit to make the hole a bit larger.
These are larger sized with an outside texture to make holding them and adding them to the pin stem easier. So they will not fit well or may be too snug if your pin stem and closure is too shallow.
Simply put the pin or brooch through your clothing and add the pin keeper to the pin stem before you close the clasp. Be careful to not poke yourself with the sharp pin while you are sliding it on.
