Vintage Fabulous Black Clear And Gold Clips

I can tell these earrings are from a good designer!  They are constructed very well from goldtone metal decorated with a black center navette surrounded by clear rhinestones.  They look like they are prong set, but the stones are actually pasted.  The earrings are unsigned, but the clips are PAT 2733491 which is a style of clip finding used by designers like CDior, KJL and Weiss.  That patent dates to 1956. 

They are in great shape with a little bit of wear to the plating on the inside of the clip and a small chip at the top of one of the black navettes.
