A wonderful example of a silver enameled Chinese export pin in the shape of a fan. The fan is decorated with a vermeil dragon flying through the clouds. Many of the details are enameled and the filigree is used to create the look of scales, teeth and more. The tassels on the bottom of the fan are created from silver wire and accented with a turquoise bead. These types of jewelry pieces were popular in the 1920's. Stamped SILVER on the reverse. It is 900 silver with some gold vermeil.
Condition: In very nice condition with expected patina. All the filigree and enamel is intact with only a slight bend to the long whiskers. The pin stem is straight and the clasp works well.
