An awesome beaded necklace with blue speckled art glass beads, carved celluloid discs, fancy gold accents and gold chain. I have given this Freirich necklace a new lease on life and paired it with some new earrings. This necklace has been restored, but some of the beads needed for balance of the design were lost before this came to the studio. The necklace is currently 30 inches long and is probably about 4 inches shorter than it was originally. I created matching earrings from the remaining beads. So you now have a wonderful one of a kind set set to enjoy!
Freirich was a French costume jewelry company that used the Freirich tag on its designs from 1964-1990. Many of these beads may be older than this time frame so perhaps they found some new old stock Czech and celluloid beads to create the original design.
Condition: Very good. I would call it excellent except for the fact that it is no longer its original length.
