Vintage Inlaid Turquoise Alpaca Mexico Necklace

A turquoise and silver necklace that is sure to be noticed!  This is a sectional collar style necklace.  The design has 5 sections that are connected with rings to add flexibility and comfort.  The center and adjoining sections are inlaid with pretty crushed turquoise.  The necklace is made from Alpaca and it looks like sterling silver.  It fastens with a secure hook clasp.  Since this is a metal design it is a little difficult to get a good measurement.  I would estimate it being around 17 inches or so.  It is stamped Mexico on the back.

Please note: Alpaca silver is not sterling silver (some sellers will call it sterling but that is incorrect).  Alpaca is a mix of copper, nickle, zinc and tin.  It is similar to German Silver which has been used in Germany and other Scandanavian countries.
