This Victorian revival bookchain necklace is so stylish! Like most revival pieces it was most likely made in the 1940's-1950's and is a heavier style bookchain. It features gold plated links with beaded accents on the ends (they are actually pushed through repousse style when viewed from the back). Since the links are chained together, it is flexible and comfortable! This is about 17 inches long with a wide foldover clasp.
Overall the necklace is in good shape. There is some finish loss and scratching that is visible on the smooth sections of the centerpieces, raised surfaces, and the underside of the clasp.
