An early pair of Alexis Bittar earrings hand carved from lucite in an orange color. These earrings are in his swirl pattern with one big difference. They are very large! In later pieces, this style is found in a smaller size. These are the largest earrings I have seen to date in this carved pattern. I was not able to truly capture the luminescence of the lucite but they have that Bittar glow. These are unsigned but I did confirm them as Bittar with another collector/dealer who is familiar with his early work. Clip on earrings.

Condition: In very good condition. I would rate these excellent except for a partial crack on the innermost curve of one earring so we have priced them accordingly (see arrow in last photo). The original earring cushions were quite old and brittle so we replaced them with new cushions.
