A super rare Hattie Carnegie necklace that is to die for! The colors and beads used in this design are quite incredible and bright. A combination of three rows of foil covered pebble beads, art glass swirls, foil lined beads, Czech pressed glass, raspberries, transfer wash, givre, goldtone spacers, lucite and more. The most unusual feature of the design is the large carved bakelite beads in orange and lime green. Signed Carnegie on both sides of the bead bars. Adjustable from 16-18 inches in length.

The necklace is in fantastic shape with the exception of some of the foil covered beads. The green foil beads are not as noticeable and have been clear coated over those areas to prevent further foil loss. Three of the pink foil beads had peeling that was more evident due to the color and size of the areas. I was going to hold onto this and see if I could get some replacements but this is so rare that it will be years before I find another. I have only seen one pair of earrings that had the same exact foil loss on the pink beads. So those beads have been treated with a pink tinted clear coat. It disguises the foil loss and makes the necklace very wearable. This necklace would normally be in the $500-$600 dollar range but I have priced it down accordingly. See photos.
