An extremely rare copper or bronze Nordic Viking replica pendant by Sporrong, Sweden. This is a stylistic animal design. Sporrong usually made things like buttons and cufflinks but they also made limited number of Viking reproductions. Birka was the Viking trade center for their area so perhaps this was created from an artifact found in Birka. The pendant has a short chain attached with a bail or you could remove that and run a cord straight through the back.

Condition: Very good/good. There is some expected light scratching and minor wear. This appears to have been a pin/pendant combo originally but a previous owner removed the pin.
