The driving force behind our jewelry has always been to spread awareness for all causes, raise funds for the 16 charities we donate to, or to simply raise the spirits of someone. I call it "sending sunshine" which is the special meaning behind our sun logo and slogan. It could be a fertility charm to raise positive energies for those trying to conceive, or a pin to show support for a favorite cause. Nothing makes me happier than to create a wacky pair of earrings that I hope makes people smile when they see them.
In this economy where budgets are being tightened, we've tried to come up with ways to keep on spreading the sunshine. For the store, we have removed our $5.00 minimum order requirement, added a rewards program that is equivalent to 5% back on all your purchases and added free shipping for orders over $25. We are also adding many awareness and support jewelry that is $5.00 or less. Bulk discounts for our satin awareness pins which start at $0.25 are now available as well.
Other ways that you can spread awareness for a cause on a budget is to cut your own ribbons from large spools of ribbons and give them away. You can create online e-mail or newsletter campaigns. There are several e-mail/newsletter companies that have free pricing models that you can take advantage of (a quick search on Google will bring up a ton of them). Facebook, Pinterest and Google+ are also excellent platforms that are free as well.
Our Awareness Ribbon Colors And Meanings List is a free service for those creating ribbon campaigns. Simply contact us and after we have verified your ribbon, we will add it to our list. We have been working on and researching our listing for over 10 years so it is one of the original and longest running ribbon lists online today. Most of the other lists you find online, get their information from ours. This means that once we post your ribbon to our list, it will eventually be picked up by everyone else.
If you have ideas on how to spread awareness on a budget that you would like to share with others, please post it here!

Hi I'm part of an organisation that educates women in the local community. We provide weekly classes for women and children and run on dontations. I was looking to find an appropriate colour for an awareness ribbon to promote the organisation. I just wanted to know what colour would be appropriate for our organisation or whether we could use any colour? Or if not could we use a different colour that hasn't been used. Thank you Regards Saba Hussain

Saba, There is a blue ribbon for "education" that should be a good fit. I do recommend that an existing ribbon be used if possible, but you can create your own ribbon if you like.

hi I am helping a friend that is hosting an awareness fundraiser for myelofibrosis which her father is suffering from. We are unable to find any company that makes and sales ribbons myelofibrosis. Could you possibly help with this or know of a company we could contact. Thank you for any help. Sherri Craig
